Text Box: We're having a get together on Saturday February 2, at 10:00 for all New and any prospective members who would like to know more about our branch.  All current members are also invited and asked to bring some food item to share.  Coffee, tea and juice will be provided.  We have 40+ members at large in the Corvallis area who are being contacted and invited to join us as well.  These are members at the national level but not attached to any local or state organization.  It would be a good time to Text Box: encourage friends and acquaintances who may have expressed an interest in joining to come to this event and informally get acquainted with our members.  Dues are half-price as of January 1, so joining now would cost $37.50 for national, state, and local dues.  Those joining after  March 15, at full price,  would be considered new members for 2008-2009.
Directions are:  Take Philomath Blvd. west until you pass Starker Forest entrance; continue to the first street where you can Text Box: turn left.  That is Newton Ave.  You will see the Mormon church on the left and a dentist's office on the right.  Turn from the turn lane onto Newton and take an immediate left on to James St.  Go to the stop sign and turn left again on Neabeack Hill Dr.  Go up the hill to the second right (Woodbine)  Go to the back of the cul-de-sac and we are straight ahead on the right.  Park diagonally to the curb to conserve space.  See you then.
