NEW MEMBERS

Connie Anderson. Connie is a retired public school teacher. She has BS degrees from Washington State Univ. and Oregon State Univ. Her MS degree is from Oregon State in the field of clothing and textiles. She has lived in Corvallis fro 29 years. She and her husband, Bob, have 2 adult children, Bill and Robyn. Connie enjoys reading, quilting, pickleball, RVing and golf. She learned about AAUW from a friend and attended the PM book club. Please welcome Connie as our newest member.

Membership Dues

It's that time again, folks!

Yes, it is dues time! As most of you know, our AAUW fiscal year - for branch, state and national ends on June 30th, 2007. For your convenience, there is a membership form available in this newsletter, or you can plan to pay your dues at our spring luncheon on May 19, at the Corvallis Country Club. National dues have increased by $2.00 so are now $47.00. A motion to increase our branch dues by $1.00, was voted upon and passed at our April branch meeting, bringing the amount to $17.00. This brings our total dues payment to $75.00. If you need to receive a print copy of the newsletter, please include an extra $10.00 to cover printing and postage. Please take time to complete the enclosed membership form and return it, along with you check to:

Any member who renews her membership at or before the luncheon on May 19 will be eligible for a prize drawing.  It’s important to renew before the end of June, and the May luncheon is the perfect opportunity to do this.
