Text Box: New Initiatives
LAF is crafting a manual and Program in a Box focused on campus sexual assault policies in collaboration with the AAUW Research Department, Harvard University Law Professor and Title IX expert Diane Rosenfeld, her students, and Students Active for Ending Rape.  These materials will educate individuals about Title IX sexual assault compliance requirements, provide them with tools to help ensure sexual assault policy enforcement, and give them programming ideas on prevention and enforcement. The materials will be released this month.
Text Box: Military and Sexual Assault
In late April AAUW and George Washington University co-sponsored an event called Military and Sexual Assault: A Discussion of Experience, Prevention, and Legislative Updates.  Visit the AAUW blog to read about the event and to view photos of speakers and local AAUW attendees.
Campus Outreach
In collaboration with the AAUW Washington (PA) Branch, AAUW Student Advisory Council (SAC) member Brittany Anderton held an LAF Text Box: campus outreach event on pay equity at Washington and Jefferson College in late spring.
AAUW SAC member Pam Nakanelua and the AAUW Windward (HI) Branch hosted an Equal Pay Day event in late spring at the University of Hawaii at Manoa with an LAF campus outreach grant.
 Plaintiff Travel Grants
Three AAUW events held in late spring featured LAF plaintiffs and one lawyer at state conventions in Florida, Minnesota, and New York.  One was Claire Schuster, current LAF plaintiff in "Shuster v. Berea College."
